Paul Nugent from Charity Worker in the UK to Cosmic Director in LA

Paul Nugent, Born in Cambridge, England, in 1958, was brought up in the Church of England, culminating in regular worship and charitable work for the homeless at London’s famous St. Martin’s in the Fields church in Trafalgar Square. Having completed a business degree in 1980, he later studied Eastern Philosophy at London’s School of Economic Science, as well as spending two periods at the New Age spiritual community of Findhorn in the north of Scotland.

At the same time, he was introduced to the cosmic teachings of The Aetherius Society that had been founded in London in 1955 by Western Master of Yoga, Dr. George King, becoming a member in 1986. He moved permanently to the Society’s American Headquarters in Los Angeles in 1990. Two years later, I became a personal assistant to Dr. King, remaining at his side until his passing in July 1997. Since 2001, he has been a director of The Aetherius Society, helping to spread the cosmic teachings that were given by Masters from beyond this Earth through Dr. King.

Lyrics to the song that was inspired by the interview:

SERVE

LYRICS:

SERVE
SERVE
SERVE
SERVE

SERVE In will pour the inspiration
SERVE Service is the culmination
SERVE Come out of suffering
SERVE Receive truth and everything

You could be living in paradise
But you took your own bad advice
This is the price
Now serve your way out of this

Giving all, asking nothing back
Others fall you take up the slack
With love and an open heart you
learn and slowly start to

SERVE The ultimate act is to
SERVE The heart of religion is to
SERVE The most glorious yoga
SERVE To practice love you need to

SERVE Set aside your vanity
SERVE Devote yourself to humanity
SERVE With every muscle and sinew
SERVE Let Kundalini rise within you

Lift the low and heal the sick SERVE

Transmute selfishness SERVE
Sacrifice your inner bliss SERVE
Discover greater happiness

No more hiding out in monasteries
Or meditating as you please
Give up your serenity
Service is your destiny

Cos in a world of suffering
Even idleness is criminal
Entertainment must be minimal
The time to act is now

SERVE The ultimate act is to
SERVE  The heart of religion is to
SERVE The most glorious yoga
SERVE To practice love you need to

SERVE Set aside your vanity
SERVE Devote yourself to humanity
SERVE With every muscle and sinew
SERVE Let Kundalini rise within you

It doesn't matter if you want to
Doesn't matter if you believe
If you don't today
You will tomorrow
Accept it - and serve
