Listen to the song I wrote after being inspired by my conversation with Karen called 'Happy Habits' and all the other Podsongs
Lyrics to the song that was inspired by the interview:
HAPPY HABITS
G C
Throw your television out of the window
G D
Replace it with flowers or something that grows
Pay other people to do the cleaning you hate
Get out of the house and spend time with your mates
G C D
Happy habits, reprogramme your day
Happy habits, blow your blues away
Happy habits, are some simple tricks
Happy habits, to make your good moods stick
Learn a new skill it can be anything
Paint a picture or do colouring
Exercise and then stand on your head
Cheer yourself up by freshly baking bread
Happy habits, reprogramme your day
Happy habits, blow your blues away
Happy habits, are some simple tricks
Happy habits, to make your good moods stick
Stop with the texting and have real conversations
Practice compassion and forgive your relations
Save for a trip that’ll be good for your soul
Focus your sights on a single life goal
Happy habits, reprogramme your day
Happy habits, blow your blues away
Happy habits, are some simple tricks
Happy habits, to make your good moods stick
[Quiet bit]
Meditate in the morning, Before you check your phone
Have fun days out with happy friends, Then quiet ones alone
Keep a journal and count your blessings
Make them rhyme and you'll feel even happier
Happy habits, reprogramme your day
Happy habits, blow your blues away
Happy habits, are some simple tricks
Happy habits, to make your good moods stick
